Starting now, write and create joy and gratitude each day. |
Yesterday when I went out for my walk, I ran into Rick, the former VP of the senior center. He was VP when I was working there, from April - August 2015. It was nice to run into him and catch up. We haven't seen each other since August 2015, he remembered me and said I was a great worker, and the seniors miss me. Maybe some day I can reapply. It was really nice to run into him. I'm going to attach two photos from 2015, from when I worked at the center. Today I ran into one of my former library co-workers and we walked together for 10 minutes, six feet apart. It's nice that we can still be social, but distant. I love photography and I'm thinking about taking photos of things that are closed, that are in walking distance. Also, some people from the Jewish forum on City-Data sent me some links, where I can watch services on Zoom. This will be my first time doing this and attending Jewish services in general. I've done community things, but maybe once this quarantine is over, I can start going to some services regularly.
