A month-long novel-planning challenge with prizes galore. |
I use a great deal of Drive, because that is how my writers group (in person) organizes everything to be ready for the next meeting. The ease of sharing and commenting makes this very beneficial for my group. We don't post more than 20k per meeting, so our file sizes are generally much smaller than that- most often a chapter or a few chapters. We spoke about evernote, and I'm considering using it. My biggest issue is my WIP has so much extraneous material that I do not know how to organize it. I have several binders full of stuff that I just haven't put in order either on paper or electronically. I should probably work on that, huh? I also have a few composition notebooks left over from Prep- because I never know when the mood will strike but I love having those notebooks. It really focuses me on what I'm doing and where I'm going. Plus I print off the checklist for our calendar and I physically mark on things when I finish them. Somehow that also gives me the excuse that I love paper and I get to buy more notebooks and binders... It's a vicious cycle. |
