I understand the ethics, and I'd never actually be able to do this stuff myself. I wouldn't even be able to do the early stuff. To answer these questions I just have to sequester the ethics: Assuming I was totally amoral, what would I do? Even in this case, where I mention a "justification" for it, it isn't that the justification would actually let me do it. It would just be the kind of extra step that would make it easier to justify.
None of the upcoming questions will refer to the spell that turns people into golems, though. Given the stuff that can be put in masks, the golem-transforming spell is an unnecessary step and a casual cruelty.
