I’m not a native English speaker. Have posted a little thing on social media yesterday. Wondering if it sounds weird.

“My boy wanted to watch the black superhero from the comic book, me go for Tomb Raider. Seems like we could not come to an agreement. Even though I reminded him the Angelina Jolie version was filmed at Ta Prohm temple in Cambodia we visited last summer. (Not sure Alicia will be as brilliant as Angelina) Ultimately no movie this weekend.”

I think it's pretty good! I have just a few suggestions. I will write it out again and change a few words that will make more sense. It doesn't sound weird at all-just a few small mistakes.
