Would he even know? I mean... if you ever referred to him as something other than "CG", I missed it. I don't care what people think of me (one of the perks of being slightly egocentric), but I wholeheartedly agree that it's easier to avoid people you don't like. I wish any time someone got obnoxious in real life, I could click "Ignore". My husband actually used to do something like that... If someone in person was being obnoxious and he didn't want to deal with them, he'd drop his hand between him and them... say "Wall"... and then ignore them like they didn't exist. It always cracked me up, but he meant it. Now, he just ignores most people by default. Like, he refuses to make eye contact and just walks in the other direction. If someone in a store says, "Excuse me... do you know where.." he literally walks away like they weren't talking to him. This is what happens when you don't like people but also have very high self-esteem, I suppose. |
