When I posted the first scene of my story, the italics didn't transfer and I couldn't get them back. I had to use instead. Is there any way of using actual italics, because further into my story, quite a bit of dialogue requires italics, as well as some of the characters' thoughts. I did find, while skimming through the Read & Review forum, at least one story that did have actual italics in it, not . If that story could have them, how can I get them? Please spill the secret! I don't want to say why I need the italics as that would spoil the surprise, but they are essential to the plot. Thank you so much!

Yes, you can format your text.
