I'm afraid Rachel is correct, Jay. The grief over the loss of a mother never goes away. I lost Mom to Alzheimer's disease seven years ago, and though I can function a bit better now than I did shortly after her death, the sorrow and the grief are still there.There will come a time during your grieving process when you will interact more comfortably with your friends and fellow actors--you may even smile every now and then. But the grief is still there, locked away, deep down where no one can see the tears.
