Lots of (melodramatic, methinks) people have called 2016 "the worst year EVER." For me, like any other year, it was a mixed bag. Still, with it now over I feel compelled to follow the adage, "out with the old, in with the new."
This week my goal is to wrap up all unfinished WDC business from the previous year. My mailbox, for example, is full of unaddressed (and sometimes unread) messages. I have a pretty substantial list of others' items that need to be reviewed. These and other housekeeping items I intend to take on this week. Technically, that's not a writing goal, but it's hard to be creative when you're mind's cluttered with a list of "things to do."
