I was just discussing with my mother last night that when I take those tests online of "where are you from?" by what you say... it always bugs out... it can never tell with me because I say some things from where I grew up (Upstate NY), some from where some of my family is from (NYC), and some from where I now live (the Deep South).
And yes sometimes you do need an adverb! If you didn't, we wouldn't teach them in school.
