A month-long novel-planning challenge with prizes galore. |
So, I'm back to my usual pumped up excitement. The outline wasn't as painful as I envisioned but I do have a very clear idea about the beginning, and middle, but not the end. I've been a part of 'A New World' contest so that has been allowing me to flesh out my fantasy world. It's been incredibly helpful making some answers to questions I knew but had never written down. I've made this world for awhile, so I think the main thing for me is getting the topography right. In my head, it can go to extremes and I'm trying to flesh that out. The different sections of the land are vastly different, which is part of the fun but also some areas are easier for me to 'see.' What does everyone get their fantasy/sci-fi world inspiration from? Does this fantastical/sci-fi world come to you in a dream? Or did you watch a movie and just create it from ideas in that? The culture of my world is my favorites to focus on. So, this has me in scheming, planning, and enjoying mode right here. Happy Prep away day and make yourself some fantastical culture/world elements. ** Images For Use By Upgraded+ Only ** |
