I'd have to agree with everyone here. I'm 47 and I prefer the vast majority of my fantasy and sci-fi without steamy romance scenes in them. I'm an action/adventure, fantasy kind of person. And I know there's a lot of books out there which adults like me read which contain scenes, such as hard battle scenes not suited for kids, in fantasy and sci-fi for the more adult reader.

Wow, I hope that wasn't confusing. Also, romantic scenes don't have to be played out to their fullest. They can be implied, let the reader do the imagining with that regard. Adults can fill in the blanks very easily.
