Thank you that's a good idea. I've written the story backwards. I know what happened, how the two were split.
Now to make a good story there has to be some good conflict. In my book there were reasons the town and others didn't want the truth told.
Here I don't have any reason for the truth to be hidden when all parties are dead. One of the twins is dead the other dying. urgency for MC to find the truth to come out before she dies. It doesn't change anything but her peace of mind. It brings the MC and the Minor MC together. (romance) but so what? What else can cause conflict? a hidden inheritance? ideas?
