I agree. I tried to write a novel a couple of times. The nutty part was doing it while I had 2 kids under the age of 2 to take care of. It didn't get far. I wrote and finished my first real attempt at a novel during Nano in 2007. Its not as hard as it once was. The more you do it the easier it is and the more you learn about what it takes to write a good novel. You might not ever let the first one see the light of day. I may one day... It isn't that bad at least not the first few chapters. But, like I said I finished in in Nov 2007 and my father died the following January. So, working on it makes me sad but hopefully one day I can do it justice with the edit without it becoming a really sad story.
