A month-long novel-planning challenge with prizes galore. |
You don't have to "turn in" (post) the assignments at all, except for the contest items on Saturday. As for how much detail you need to add; frankly that's what the rest of the month is going to be, in a nutshell. If you want an example, here are my assignment and bonus for today. They easily fulfill the one true requirement (at least fifteen minutes work each. These took me about twice that). Do NOT consider these how you have to do it. There's exactly as many right ways as there are participants in this challenge.
By the way, only one of the characters mentioned in my assignment even has a name at this point, and none have a character sheet yet. Again, that's what the rest of the month is for. ... Regards, Eric Fretheim "It is perfectly okay to write garbage-- as long as you edit brilliantly." ~C.J. Cherryh "Success is the ability to go from failure to failure without losing your enthusiasm." ~Winston Churchill āNo, writing 50,000 words in a month is normal. You are not crazy. This is not insane.ā ~Teri Brown |
