Hello,

I would first like to say that I understand and appreciate why you recently changed your policy regarding free accounts creating interactives. This post is not meant to argue anything about that.

I am curious about one aspect of it that I haven't been able to find an answer to: if I were to upgrade to a paid membership and then create an interactive, would I retain the story in my portfolio should my paid membership expire?

Thank you, and I apologize if this has been posted elsewhere.

Greets,

if I were to upgrade to a paid membership and then create an interactive, would I retain the story in my portfolio should my paid membership expire?

No. In order to keep and continue to use items of a paid membership level, you must maintain the paid membership -- otherwise folks would just pay once, create everything and then stop paying. *Wink*

Thank you for your reply. I had thought that was the case (for precisely the reason you give), but was unsure given that interactives created by free memberships before these policies were put into effect have been allowed to remain. I take it then that those interactives which were created before the new policy have been specifically grandfathered in and that any created afterward must be hosted by a paid account, and that similar restrictions apply to transferring interactives?
