Makes perfect sense. If you are uncertain of your story, I would just write on it or try your hand at something else. But I think you have it in you, especially with all the prep work you've done.
I have my doubts too such as what if I don't force myself to write every day? What if those first words to the story don't come? What if my characters decide to be stubborn?
What if near the end of the month I realize I haven't written ANYTHING? What if, what if, what if...? That question can be the doom for us writer's or I could just turn that inner editor into a short story or something, just so it'll get off my back.
