A month-long novel-planning challenge with prizes galore. |
I loved reading ALL the posts on what we all struggle with, and I am soooo glad I am not alone. Even though you know you aren't, it helps to hear or see people write out their struggles. Right now, my struggle is... well, my daughter and hubby are gone for the weekend for the first time ever and I have so many things I want and need to do before they come back on Sunday. I know I want to get a lot of writing and cleaning done. But as many of you said, time management. I tend to go off on little bunny trails and then I am like what happened? . I also worry that I will go into labor while they are away. I have many people who will assist me to a hospital if I do go into labor, but what if hubby doesn't get here in time as we are having a c-section? As for my story, I need a prophecy. Here's the jist. A girl with red hair who is part fairy is born on a winter solstice. The coldest night in 10 years. That same night a silver dragon, they call Nor, is born but without fire in his belly. She can produce fire whereas he can't. They are connected through their birth and prophecy. I am also trying to decide whether or not the villian should be female. I am having a hard time with subplots on this one that I want to cry, or perhaps it's just my hormones. |
