A place to get together and chat about mental illness or about whatever is on your mind. |
Early on, I waited until "really bad" but learned to be aware of internal physical and emotional changes that were not peaceful; getting angry over little things, ruminating over and over small things, destructive or suicidal thoughts, less patience over things, not sleeping or sleeping to much. The "wisdom of the body" tells our mind things we need to learn to do something for our health. Paying attention to the lesser symptoms and calling for dr appointment has helped me. All of us will still have 'really bad' when something major happens, like the death of my mother did me even when feeling okay, even when the medication is working. I've learned it's better to call for an appointment that to wait for "really bad". Good luck and God bless you.
