Re: Martial Arts Stories Wanted
Hey, Rex.

If this person knows nothing about martial arts, make one up!

This was done for Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball Z... look how popular it became.

I suggest the following for your friend....

2000 years ago, a man of unknown origin found a way to harness and control the untold hidden powers of the human mind and body, responsible for the momentary bursts of power and insight humans occasionally experience in drastic situations. He then developed this power into a new form of martial arts, manipulating the Chi lines. (key points in the nervous system- goggle it)
He called this new form of martial arts Kamaya Kayo Kyaken, which meant in his language, The way of the Inferno.

This new form of martial arts granted the user incredible attributes (strength, edururance, speed, etc.) Only, it also enabled the user to throw powerful waves of sheer will, like a mighty explosion, and control the minds of others as the power enhanced the mind as well as the body.

The ancient master, fearing this new power would be abused, sealed all of his knowledge in a crystal like stone and hid it in a cave outside of of a village known as Tokyo....

2000 years later, you (the main character) go to Japan to visit a pen pal. You stumble upon the cave while exploring and gain the ancient power known as...

The Way of the Inferno!

What will you do with it?
