Wow you sure do build it big! The biggest ship in my 'verse is just over a kilometer long. One thing I'm very curious about is maximum engagement range of your weapons, i only saw the max range of the primary weapon at 500 meters. One of the main reasons I'm asking is I try to follow the laws of physics whenever possible and my ships missile and torpedo armarments have effective ranges of several million kilometers. (Even farther is it's an FTL torp) Also I'm kinda confused about your turning example, are you talking about space or atmospheric combat? Because according to physics a ship at speed would turn in a sloping curve and would be able to rotate in-flight to fire backwards without deviating from the original flight path (ever seen Babylon 5? It's like that) Also maneuvering jets placed around the ship would allow for movement in any direction, making dodging an attack very interesting. I'm glad to see you have real lasers! From what I've seen most "laser" weapons aren't optical which confuses the heck out me. But the question is, how do your sheilds stop such a laser? do they bend light around the ship making it invisable too? Overall a very intimidating craft, I know I wouldn't want to face one without my Challenger And extra points for a very unusual power supply! |
