Thanks for your input. I just know I'll have to be writing a huge battle scene soon, and I was really not sure how far I could go with weapons. Gatlin gun, you say? Perfect! *Smile* It all makes more sense in the light of day, now that I really think about it. I am still a bit nervous about this particular scene... but what the heck. It's only NaNo, right? Plenty of time to revise it later!
