I've loved reading your stuff and getting to know you through the PDG, but for some quirky reason, I always remember you telling me that you once had a bit role on Doctor Who Pretty awesome in my book.
As to your wonderfully thought-provoking question, I have often been inspired by Kurt Vonnegut's quote: I want to stay as close to the edge as I can without going over. Out on the edge you see all kinds of things you can't see from the center. I love this out-of-the-box sort of mentality—always pushing past our conventions to find the ideas that lurk on the fringes of our consciousness.
Have yet to write a story that in my mind is worthy of that quote...But, you know, it's a work in progress
