Item editing - global changes
by A Non-Existent User
I've been thinking, lately, that I'd like to restrict most of my items to those with 'basic' membership and higher. As it is, they're all open to any registered user. (Including my recent spammer).

But I've got nearly 350 items! Going through and changing them each would take an entire afternoon.

It'd be really convenient if there were a "change all" option - a filter that would take all the common fields of items and allow a user to say "if this field is X, change it to Y".

The best place for such a command would be as a new option in "manage your portfolio" menu.

This would be different than the "change access" pane, as it would be global (update everything in the folder that is set to X to setting Y) not item by item, and would include as possibilities not only Access Restrictions, but also Membership Restrictions, PassKey, GroupEdit Access, GroupEdit Level, and Rating/Review preference.

If "change items in subfolders" was a checkbox option, that'd be great as well.

Of course, there'd probably have to be a "are you sure" and "are you sure you're sure" checks - but, for those who are sure they're sure, this would be of great convenience.
