So, I'm guessing that this 'Under the Dome' is about a town that was once isolated from the outside world? Sounds intriguing. Definitely sounds like Stephen King when he writes outside his genre. I haven't read him in so long. I'm definitely going to have to get this book. I don't know about anyone else, but I grew up reading Stephen King. The very first book I read of his was 'The Gunslinger' and I was ten, I think. He'll always and forever be my favorite author.
