Hello, Laura!

A great thing about Writing.Com is that you can control who sees the work that you post. Each item you create, you can choose for it to be visible to everyone, only to registered users, only to registered authors . . . there are a few other choices as well . . . or you can choose for it to be Private . . . and then it is for your eyes only.

It is still on the internet . . . but your work can have limited access this way.

(BTW, I could be accused of having delusions of grandeur as well. I am keeping tracks of the details of this journey toward my "Goal: Be a Successful Freelance Writer!" Open in new Window.. I am doing that because I know that when I am rich and famous, countless readers will be anxious to see where I started!)
