I've noticed that in e-mails, book entries, and message forum posts, we have the ability to preview our work before posting it. Not sure if this has been asked before, but is there any reason we cannot have the same preview feature when creating items? As someone who regularly creates forums, activities, etc. (and uses WritingML liberally), it can be cumbersome to hit 'Save and View', look for coding errors, then go back into 'Edit', make the changes, and click 'Save and View', etc.
Would it be possible to have a 'Preview Item' button available so we can check our coding as we go and more easily go back and edit? This would also eliminate the need to set the item as private or risk confusing visitors who view the item while you're in the process of changing it, if all the "rough" work can be done in Preview before saving and making it live.
