I tip-toe in, creep and slink,
another's thoughts I seek to drink.
Tortured sighs, deep sobs and taunts
To me are just a Sunday jaunt.

But here among prose and rhyme,
I find a soul matured like wine.
In sharing that too-strong brew,
touch a strength that comes shining through.

They say that souls forged in fire,
can reach the star of their desire.
We earthbound can only stare,
as their hearts sing and brightly flare.
