asking around there aren't a whole lot of people who have a need for the math aspect on here, unless they are working on something directly relating to math, there normally isn't a need.

Knowing three very mathematically inclined members of this site, I'm inclined to disagree. There might not be a need now, but if any of us who wish to boost math awareness among site members get our rears in gear, we just might need it.

In the meantime, I know Word 2007 does allow for equations to be displayed properly. Will that show up with preserved spacing/{pre} tags?
