October Novel Prep Challenge

So about a week ago I got this story idea about a town that has been brainwashed by an occult leader which I absolutely love. The problem is that it is leaching the inspiration out of my NaNo novel idea. I love both ideas equally, each are unique in their own ways, but one represents what unresolved issues lurk in your subconscious and the other is a conflict of religious ideas and morals...

I have considered using the occult story for NaNo, but there is one problem: I've already written a lot. I sat down to write some of it and I ended up continuing it to 4,000 words. In one night too! That means it's something that I can run off of.

But I like the other one too!


Honestly, this is about 10x worse than picking between two girls (mind the crude representation).

This is partly reason for stopping all work on the prep challenge.





As if I know what I'm talking about!
