I tend to have the same problem sometimes. Too many different ideas for one story that don't all work together that well. I also get side tracked doing the oddest things...wouldn't you know reading your post had me on a hunt reading today reading about Japanese swords from WW2? I was reminded of the one my grandpa has from the war and all the sudden wanted to know more about it. Unfortunately though, housework isn't on my procrastination list, even though it should be.
Yup I'm participating. It's a mystery - CSI-like kind of novel, but from the POV of the guilty party starting with him trying to get rid of the body. The story has been in my head for a few months, but it took me awhile to work through the logic of it all. Hoping it has enough suspense, but the middle might be dragging just a bit. I've got one twist worked in, but I'm thinking it may need another.
