From Ask and Embla

In regards to killing the chief, we also have to ask ourselves: why do our characters care? That's probably one of the first questions we have to answer. I"m not sure what the connection of most of our characters are to him, and so that's something that needs to be developed. Aase...probably doesn't care about him at all. She doesn't know the chief or anything, and couldn't care two figs about him and would be happier if he did die- cause she's kinda bitter that way. If we want all of our characters to come together as a result of this then if we can get a core group with a direct connection, the others can find ways to come in that works with their characters. Granted, we don't have to have all the characters in one place, we can have others getting something started for later.
