New Worlds

Elmarin is a country occupying a half of the continent. (I'm not sure what the continent's name is yet.) It is divided from the other country (again, name unsure) by the Scar Mountains. On the southern coast is the mysterious Ciana Forest. No one knows much about the "Cat Folk" who live there.

The name Elmarin is (I think) from Tolkein's Elvish. The dragons and humans live side by side. Being joined to one- called "Dragon-touched"- is rare, though.

Jacob, the story's hero, comes from the small town of Goldfield. It's a farming community, with most of the world's troubles comfortably far away. All of a sudden, he finds himself among those elite few. Now he has an enemy- the elusive Black Guard- and a few friends.
