Okay, everyone, it's time for the Ball!

This Ball is mainly in Princess Marguerite and Anglis' honor, so they'll be whisked away to get dolled up special and dance and mingle and be shown off to everyone. It'll be a long night for them. For the rest of you ...

Derrick - sorry, dude, but you're going to be escorted and kept an eye on. The monkeys may have given their word to Margie, but they don't really trust you. After the conference with the king, you'll be carefully invited to call it a night, but they'll supply you well with goodies back in your room.

Marius - you've some reading and translating to do, and your 'something special' so you'll be sitting along one of the benches working.

Mordred - you can dance, man! And you'll also have an opportunity to play that nifty little flute of yours.

Tai - you'll see ... hehe

and Dmitri is still in bed and Kiera will be around somewhere ...

Now, for the next round of additions, you'll be describing what your char will be doing in the next 2 weeks. To give you a time reference, it is now mid-spring-ish, approximately the beginning of April - haha, let's make the Ball happen on April 1, that'll do. Now, you have to be at the Gates in the next 4 weeks, or by the end of April.

And of course you are certainly allowed to talk about the ball, if you want, in your adds as well, but back to the point ...

Marius & Mordred - you two are travelling to the Wall. Make sure you coordinate, such that your adds don't contradict each other. Maybe one of you does the first week and the other the second week? However you want to work it. The party heading to the Wall will be Marius, Mordred, 6 bodyguards from the army, 2 scouts/trackers/guides, and 2 messengers on, get this, racing elephants. Plus elephants for everyone to ride. The elephants are plenty big enough to carry baggage, so no need to worry about that.

For everyone else, Week 1 will be spent packing/preparing, and Week 2 will see the Army heading across the sea and travelling to the Gates. You can help out in the city, talk amongst yourselves, do any research you want to do, mend clothing, buy provisions, etc ... Most of you have additional stuff to talk about, so you shouldn't be lacking for activities, but if you are, let me know and I'll try to think of something.

Don't worry about how you're going to get to your destination - that's covered. I'll get you there on time, not to worry.

I think that's it. Of course, let me know if you have questions and I'm going to apologize upfront for my add, it's going to be another long one.

Oh, right, the upcoming holidays - I want to stay on the same schedule. If you have problems with that, please let me know, but you can always email me adds before or after your turn and I'll take care of them. For whomever's turn we're at on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day and New Year's Eve and New Year's Day, those particular days do not count towards your time limit, so don't stress about it. I'm not sure if I'll even be online at all those days, and you know I'll give you extra time if you let me know in advance.
