I think we all have our moments of self doubt. I know I do. Usually it's not because I have no clear idea of the story but because I feel it's not good enough, that I'm not good enough to be writing. I think really the only way to combat that is to keep writing even if you feel like you shouldn't. The only way you are either going to have positive validation of your work is to finish it so that people can read it.
Also post stuff here and ask for feedback on it. I've gotten a lot of positive feedback on the stuff I've posted, with some constructive help to make it better.
