Writing can be very easy, true. It can also be very very difficult. It just depends on the day, hour, minute... Forget Paris Hilton and anyone else. Focus on what you do. Focus on what you want to write. Research, create and edit your idea. Work on your manuscript every opportunity you can get. Be prepared to give up much of your free time to writing and editing. Double up - work out a plot problem over dishes - be prepared for soggy notebooks.

Read books with the answers to your problems. I recommend:
- Formatting and Submitting your manuscript
- Building Bicycles in the Dark.

Read in the genre you are writing.

Publishing will not happen overnight unless you're Paris Hilton.
