Are you really stressed lately? Has something bad happened? Are you afraid something bad will happen? Are you afraid you'll get caught? These all contribute to cutting more. Have you tried other things? Try drawing on yourself instead, or listen to classical music, or take a bubble bath. Try coming here and talking to people. Instant messaging is available to everyone, and if you have an upgrade you can use the scrollie thing. Are you anxious about not cutting? Stopping cutting takes awhile. It's a whole shift from cutting to not. You have to find new coping skills and practice them. It's not going to happen overnight. You know you want to stop cutting. That's good. Now, try gradually replacing cutting with another coping technique. For example, instead of cutting, five times a day, only cut four, and write the other time. Maybe that will help. You can do this. I know you can. And we're here to help you. You are not alone. And don't be too hard on yourself for cutting more this week. We're all human, and it happens. You are not a failure because you've cut more in this past week even though you want to stop. Remember that. You are not a failure. You still have us, and we won't leave you, no matter what.
