Well, for one it would depend on your definition of sucess. For now, I would consider myself sucessful just for completing a story to my satisfaction. And anyhow, I don't have a whole lot of respect for universal appeal. I've read The DaVinchi Code, after all. *Bigsmile*

Although, I suppose that also means that I don't have a lot of respect for having money and, by extension, eating and living comfortably.

I don't mean that writers shouldn't try to appeal to a lot of people, I just mean that for me it wouldnt' be any fun if I was trying to impress others.
