It's such an interesting idea...muses. I don't have one that I know of either. I mean a lot of the time I just sit down pick up a pen or pencil and write what comes out. I don't always know where it comes from. I would say I am one of the most disorganized writers there is.
Now while I don't have a muse, I have an ex-boyfriend who talk to and he helps me get back on track when I'm feeling blocked or just to talk out a problem I'm having. Actually we do it for each other, I just write more than he does.
One thing I did learn is that I am not a linear writer. My novel has a linear path but that is not how I've been writing it. I used to always try and write the story from beginning to end, but I never finished anything. Now I write the parts that come to me and then put them where they belong later.
