Yeah i understand! but how do we know that the point of horror is to scare people. i mean things like vampires and ghosts. they all started with the idea of horror. but now! there are books and movies being created to show how ghosts and vampires are good and not scary, so was the point of these creatures to actually scare people or just give a type of insight into what may exist
