I agree with IceSkating Cube, except for just googling for book publishers. Checking out reliable and proven databases and who has placed similar books in the bookstores is the way to go. Just googling for book publishers, though, is how many individuals end up with scammers.
Getting published is a long process, so you'll want to keep writing while you work on this next step. That way, during the hurry-up-and-wait times, you'll have something to keep you occupied. What you write is up to you.
I have heard other writers talk about the strange feeling at the end of a large project, so I'm certain that is perfectly normal.
