whew, i get busy, and look what happens to the group! Reviewing Erotica to me is just like reviewing other stuff. i check for grammar and typos and such, and list those first. next i will check for word usage. i think in erotica one word can make a difference. i once reviewed a story where the word "unpolluted" was used to discribe the air in a hot scene. uhh, no that just doesn't work. one word can make a difference. i will also let you know if i tripped over any sentences. if i had to read a sentence twice to understand it, i let the writer know. that isn't good for the flow of the story. beyond that i let them know how the story made me feel. i explain my interpretation and if there is anything that i feel could be improved or more detail or whatever. i also give insight (mostly with stories involving BDSM) as to how things truely do feel. being involved with it on a day to day basis, i can help people to add in a few details in their story that will really make it pop if they've never been able to experience it themselves. its just like reviewing anything else, except i think its more fun :) ~Master Grayson's naughty wildcat Master's slave; Sir's toy http://www.sextoysex.com/naughtycat |
