Hi I have been away from posting and writing for a while. But I am back. My absentism began shortly after this past Nano. I was having so much fun and writing on my novel...then it ended. I was all alone. I allowed myself to get lost in my book, make a mess of it, and then quit.
Stupidly, I think I became a bit depressed. BUT my novel/Muse refused to let me be. I picked it up again, kept many of my ideas, and started all over again. I am doing great.
So I thought I'd drop in and say hello and welcome to newcomers. WDC soothes the wild, savage beast.
Never say that becoming depressed is stupid. It is a natural process. We put so much of ourselves into our writing that if a work, especially a long work, goes off the rails, it is like a part of ourselves collapses.
I am glad your muse has continued to nag at you, though. And welcome back.
Welcome back, Chrys O'Shea - Writing again. I went through a short hiatus about ten years ago. I was just going through some things life tends to throw at us and couldn't get any writing in gear. It finally passed.
