Good morning everyone

For those of you that do not know I’d like to introduce myself my name is Katie Crays I am the daughter of one of the long-term professional poet and freestyle riders on here kimberlyhuggins I would like to take you through our journey of my life and my moms it’s pretty unique you see I was born with cerebral palsy and I am in a wheelchair I am 31 almost 32 I was diagnosed with Sarabel palsy at nine months old raised by a single mom and it wasn’t always easy my mom love to write for those of you that are on here reading my blog please go check out my mothers blog and her poetry it’s incredible no unfortunately sadly these days it’s just me because my mother for many of you that don’t know passed away from a heart attack five years ago as of yesterday at the age of 47 but I am very grateful and pleased to say that her writing is still up on this website my mother was one of the most incredible woman you’ll ever meet she had a strength and a determination about her but I guess I come by honestly because I do the same thing like my mother I am a very creative writer I’d like to make people think to start conversations not arguments but conversations that actually get people to see both sides of an issue I haven’t been on here in a while because I lost access to my old account so I had to re-create a new one but as I go through this personal journey with you guys in my life I’m not just me and my personal journey but the life of my mother and there’s so many incredible things that she and I both did I hope you guys enjoy it and I hope you learn a few life lessons along the way life is too short to be constantly wondering what it or should we constantly second-guessing the decisions you make some decisions yes you need to second-guess but others when you know it’s right in your gut follow it so that’s what I’m doing on this journey with this personal blog I will also be posting poetry short stories and maybe even a few copies of what my mom wrote so please come along for the journey and have fun keep the comments encouraging respectful and nice to one another please OK so to start off it’s a Saturday morning it’s cold like crazy outside and I’m laying in bed as I write this sick but also lazy after all it is Saturday why not you see my life hasn’t always been easy but then again I learned a long time ago nothing in life ever is easy because if it was then it wouldn’t be worth living I have to do things a little differently than everybody I can’t walk but I still find ways to live my life as independently as I can I live in my own apartment I have an incredible team and I am fairly independent if there’s any questions you guys have or anything you would like to know please do not hesitate to ask I am an open book this it this journey isn’t just my journey but it’s also continuing my mother‘s legacy for those of you that are new to this blog and those of you that were on my old blog but haven’t seen me in a while please go check out my mothers page I think you’ll like what you see OK guys that’s it for now like I said be kind to one another be loving towards yourself and always be humble and grateful for what you have because we are never promised tomorrow only the few seconds of today that we have to enjoy your day
