Doug sat everyone down at the table and looked them over.
"This is a good group you've assembled," Doug says, his chin wobbling too-and-fro with every vowel. "You came for the Onions?"
They all nod in unison. Doug grunts and bends over, picking up a plastic crate, filled to the brim with onions. He sets it onto the table with a bang and everyone jumps. Doug straddles the Onions and looks everyone in the eyes. The single oil flame flickers and sputters.
"These onions are special, you can only get them here, in Brooksville," He starts the story. "They lie inside the dark swamp, just outside the barriers of Tony's farm. I had to sacrifice a lot for these things."
"Where does it all start?" One guy asks, dressed in a freshly tailored suit and buzzed scalp.
"I started at Tony's farmhouse. He gave me a ride on his donkey to the farthest boundary, where he left me all alone. The first thing I noticed in the swamp was..."
