First Love



An Autumn moon bathed the small clearing in a brilliance I had not before seen. My love lay on a bed of newly fallen leaves. Her eyes staring blindly into the night sky. The warmth of her life coverd my hands and glistened in the moonlight. There have been others but she was my first.
