I came up with the poem but my English teacher edited A LOT of it!
[Introduction]
Silver metal shines so bright,
Scarlet warmth that feels so right.
Dreams of blood trickling down,
But waking up before you drown.

Close your eyes, visualize,
Dream of broken butterflies,
Bodies beginning to paralyze,
Broken butterfly nightmare.
The pale moonlight shines off your tears,
As you bleed your own worst fears.
Tonight when you begin to cry,
Whisper a lonesome lullaby.

Close your eyes, visualize,
Dream of broken butterflies,
Bodies beginning to paralyze,
Broken butterfly lonely.

Who knew life would be so hard?
Someone else holds the cards.
It is time to end the pain,
Before I go completely insane.

Close your eyes, visualize,
Dream of broken butterflies,
Bodies beginning to paralyze,
Broken butterfly crushed.
