A poem about what you go through when you die.
[Introduction]
Exhaustion overcomes me
Movements are clumsy
Vision is hazy
Smell is putrid
World spins before my eyes
Thoughts spiral round
Head throbs painfully
Memories rise to the surface
Secrets from the heart pour out
Long forgotten faces swim round
Reflections on all that is my conscience
Thud as I hit the concrete floor
Blood gushes out
Look down at the knife protruding from my chest
Vaguely aware of others crowding round
Wondering if this is death
Wondering if I'm dying.
