Opening
The car turned down the avenue that you see on TV all the time, the one with the pawm trees by Venice Beach? Yeah, that one. Who would have thought that, I, Miss Small Town USA Highschool student, Mandy Jammes, would be living it up in L.A.? I defiantly didn't. I guess neither did Laura, maybe that's why she refuses to return my calls. She's jealous. She always has been, because of my actor dad. I don't care. Her loss. I looked out the window as hundred of teens laughed and played in the unmerciful sun that beat down on them from above. I ran my hand through my hair and blinked as paparazzi snapped photo's of Katy Perry getting out her her car. My dad rolled down his window and waved to her, she gave him the 'call me' sign, which smiled he smiled in return to and rolled up the window.
"I'm not gonna call her," he said shaking his head. I know, you never do call anyone. Not even me unless I called you, I thought.
"Why not? She's pretty," is what I actually said. He shrugged.
