Canadians Amongst Them

Canadians were amongst them
while so many lives were lost,
four planes were hijacked
our loved ones, paid the cost.

I do not completely understand
how others can be so cruel,
but, evil exists in this world
and hate, is the fuel.

Many people may cry
but, that won't bring them back,
many families were ripped apart
their hearts are torn and cracked.

The loving people of the world
feel your loss and pain,
but, keep this in mind
you WILL see them again.

My heart breaks silently
for all of those that fell,
for the families of the lost
I truly wish them well.

Still, to this day, I can't look at any pictures to do with the day of Sept.11/2001. Every time I do, my eyes swell with tears and it feels like my heart is in my throat. There were 24 Canadians, murdered that day. It IS murder, when you really think about it. :'o(
