A piece I wrote after my Godmother got married
[Introduction]
The Stunning Bride

More elegant then all the stars in the sky.
Her smile like a million diamonds.
Skin, magnificently golden brown,
Angelic.

Piercing eyes.
One glance,
And it sends shivers,
Up and down your heart.

Time seems to stop,
As she enters the room.
All heads turn,
Staring at the loveliness before them.

A vision of perfection she is,
Standing before the congregation
With the poise of an angel.
Confidence of a saint.

The groom lifts the veil,
As he starts to cry.
What a stunning bride.
Eye shatteringly gorgeous.

She wraps herself in his arms.
First dance for the couple.
Around and around they twirl.
Flawlessly.

She dances across the ground,
Her feet never seeming to graze the floor.
The strobe light flickers upon her face,
At just the right angle.

She looks so perfect,
So happy.
You don’t know love,
Until you look in her eyes.
